Charlie Savage will start this afternoon’s match against Shrewsbury Town, marking the only change made by Reading manager Ruben Selles.
The 20-year-old came off the bench against Pompey and Port Vale in midweek and was left off of the starting lineup for last week’s trip to league leaders Portsmouth.
There is only one alteration from Tuesday’s 2-0 victory against Port Vale: Michael Craig is moved to the bench.
Amadou Mbengue, Tyler Bindon, Clinton Mola, and Andy Yiadom make up the same back four, with David Button in goal. Savage moves into the middle of the park to join Harvey Knibbs and Lewis Wing, the midweek goal scorers.
The three players with the challenge of getting the ball past Marko Marosi in the net are Femi Azeez, Sam Smith, and Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan.
Ben Elliott, Jayden Wareham, and Paul Mukairu are bench players with opportunities to contribute.
