Here’s a recap of how our players performed during the final international break of the season:

ENGLAND U19S – EVE ANNETS

In an international friendly against France U19s, England U19s suffered a 3-2 defeat where Eve Annets remained an unused substitute. However, in another friendly against Norway U19s, Annets was brought on when England was trailing 2-0. She contributed to a late comeback, helping her team secure a 2-2 draw.

WALES – CHARLIE ESTCOURT

Charlie Estcourt played a significant role for Wales in their friendly against the Republic of Ireland, coming on as a substitute in the 60th minute and aiding in securing a 2-0 victory.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND – JESSIE STAPLETON

Jessie Stapleton played a pivotal role in the Republic of Ireland’s midfield during their friendly against Italy, helping her team hold Italy to a goalless draw for 70 minutes. In another friendly against Wales, Stapleton played for 88 minutes before her team faced a 2-0 defeat.

NORTHERN IRELAND – LAUREN WADE & RACHEL DUGDALE

Lauren Wade made a notable contribution to Northern Ireland’s UEFA Women’s Nations League match against Montenegro by scoring a goal in the 70th minute, leading her team to a 2-0 victory. Rachel Dugdale replaced Wade in the 80th minute and also played a part in securing the win.

In the second leg against Montenegro, Wade played for an hour before being substituted, while Dugdale remained an unused substitute. Despite conceding a goal, Northern Ireland managed to equalize, securing a 1-1 draw and winning the tie with an aggregate score of 3-1.
