Yazmine Delarose, the partner of Reading footballer Lewis Wing, has criticized the ongoing off-field issues at the club. Wing, who joined from Wycombe Wanderers in the summer, has been a standout player under Ruben Selles, enjoying the best season of his career.

However, the entire season has been marred by off-field problems, including points deductions, transfer embargoes, and the recent sale of the Bearwood training ground to Wycombe Wanderers, Wing’s former club. Fed up with the situation, Delarose expressed her frustration on social media, specifically targeting the club’s ownership.

In a tweet, she stated, “I’m the partner of one of the current Reading players & this is what I wake up thinking every day! My family and I joined Reading with the excitement of finally settling down and being part of a family club with an exciting future. It’s been based on lies since day one.”

Delarose’s sentiments also extended to the EFL, accusing them of complacency during board meetings while players, their families, employees, and fans are left in distress and uncertainty about the club’s future. She criticized the EFL for its role in the scandal, pointing out their acceptance of certain individuals as club owners.
