After the Gers secured a 2-1 victory at Rugby Park on Wednesday, the host of the Heart and Hand Podcast stated that Philippe Clement has given the team the consistency they had previously lacked.

He went on to say that there is “absolutely no way” that the Light Blues would not have lost the match against Killie six months prior, praising goalkeeper Jack Butland for a superb save and captain James Tavernier for sparking the comeback by leveling the score with a free kick on the 55th minute.

Edgar declared, “We’re going to win this league.” “That bottle that we were missing earlier is here. There is no way that we didn’t lose the game six months ago. Tav’s free kick and Super Jack’s save appear to have been crucial events in our season.

Rangers are on a high following Kilmarnock’s triumph.

With the exception of the Old Firm derby, Rangers’ recent matches against Hearts and Kilmarnock were thought to be the toughest challenges they would face in their pursuit of the SPL title.

They won each of those matches handily, but the conditions under which the points were won were very different.

The hosts took the lead at halftime before Tavernier and Tom Lawrence turned things around, but the Gers blew over the Jambos before they had a genuine scare at Killie.
