Rangers ought to “get rid” of their best players, including their three summer additions.
Rangers players Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers, Jose Cifuentes, and Ridvan Yilmaz should be traded in January, according to radio presenter Stevie Clifford.
For the three summer arrivals, Clifford said, things simply haven’t clicked at Ibrox, and Yilmaz is drawing interest from clubs and may be heading out the door.
It was also proposed that the club would benefit from these players leaving in order to recoup the summertime expenditures made in an effort to support Michael Beale.

Clifford said, “There are some that should be heading for the exit door in January, whether or not we can get rid of them,” in a video posted on The Rangers Review YouTube channel on December 6.
To put it plainly, I don’t think Sam Lammers is finding success with it. It seems to be ineffective for Cyriel Dessers. It seems to be failing José Cifuentes. “Other players could perhaps make that squad in the grand scheme of things. A handful might be let go in January. Consider individuals such as Ridvan Yimaz, who possesses a monetary worth. He is much sought after, and I believe he may depart soon.
January can be quite busy.
After a half of the season marked by underwhelming performances, there could be a lot of names on the cutting room floor at Ibrox during the hectic January transfer window. The time for hope and patience is not now, therefore even those who arrived in the summer may be allowed go.
Fans are growing impatient and demanding results right now as they try to relive Celtic’s current winning streak. With the inconsistent play that both Old Firm teams have seen this season, Rangers might want to take advantage of this.
Speaking about the team’s apparent lack of balance, Philippe Clement has asked the board to spend money on new players to help address that issue. He has also made suggestions about which players might join the team as well as those who should be let go.
There might be a comeback at Ibrox in the second half of the season, paving the way for a meaningful trophy challenge, if the correct investment is made in January and the roster is reduced of its underwhelming players to reduce the pay bill.
