William Pacho, a defender for Eintracht Frankfurt who was allegedly on Rangers‘ watchlist, is now being linked to a possible £35 million move to Real Madrid, just few months after that.
The adage “one man’s misery is another’s fortune” comes to mind with David Alaba becoming the third Real Madrid player to fall victim to the ACL curse. The Austrian joins Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois in a treatment room that is about as crowded as the London Underground during rush hour.
William Pacho had no idea that he would be moving from Royal Antwerp to Real Madrid in a few of months when he was being linked to a move to Rangers at the beginning of the summer.
That, however, is beginning to look very much like a possibility.
Real Madrid to Rangers
Pacho is one of the possible Alaba substitutes Real Madrid is reportedly considering, according to AS. The 22-year-old Ecuadorian international, who is valued at approximately £35 million by his current employers Eintracht Frankfurt, is probably going to arrive for a lot less money than both Antonio Silva of Benfica and Goncalo Inacio of Sporting Lisbon.

Since then, his value has increased significantly; the player who originally transferred to Frankfurt for £8 million is now estimated to be worth closer to £35 million.
In the new year, the Rangers might try to add some defensive reinforcements of their own.Mason Holgate, the Everton misfit, is a possibility. Conversely, Hammarby isn’t ruling out making a profit on their £4 million-rated Ghanaian goalkeeper, Nathaniel Adjei.
