Philippe Clement, a Rangers player, should sell for £12.5 million in 2024.

You correctly read it. Here is a list of Rangers players that we believe should be sold for a total of £12.5 million in 2024.
Let’s face it, over the last three transfer windows, Rangers have squandered a sizable sum of money. These players ought to be putting up far more in a Light Blue jersey for the money they are being paid.
Of course, some have been prosperous.Michael Beale signed Todd Cantwell and Nico Raskin for a total of £2.8 million in January of last year. It was one of his few successful moves while at Rangers.
One must consider the addition of Antonio Colak in the summer of 2022 to be a success. With eighteen goals in the previous campaign, he truly ought not to have been let go for the rumored £2.5 million Rangers paid for him.
Apart from that, it’s been pretty gloomy. Every Rangers fan is aware of the exact events of the summer transfer window, and we believe that one player who was added at that time ought to be let go.
And even though it’s the season of goodwill, there are still two big-money signings who just need to give up their Rangers responsibilities. To be fair, since moving to Glasgow, Philippe Clement has fielded them several times, but we think it’s time for them to leave and be replaced by the Belgian’s own selections.
Ridvan Yilmaz

- July 2022 is the signed date.
£5 million was paid as a transfer fee.
Each game costs £200k.Perhaps one genuine standout performance in a Rangers uniform by Ridvan Yilmaz, but not enough to justify the length of his Ibrox contract.Rangers should just give up on the player because his contract is set to expire in 2027 and he hasn’t fully won over the fans since signing in June 2022.
Another former Rangers midfielder, Derek Ferguson, believes Yilmaz has no future in Glasgow and that, given the outrageous £5 million paid for the Turkish left-back, he ought to have been contending with Borna Barisic for a starting position far more frequently than he has.
This season, Clement has given Yilmaz a good amount of opportunities; he has started four times in the Premiership, compared to Michael Beale’s one start.
However, he has also been in and out of multiple bench spots like a hokey cokey. Yilmaz shouldn’t be a part of Rangers’ long-term plans to address the left-back position under Clement.
Ben Davies

- July 2022 is the signed date.
Paid transfer fee: £4 million
Game cost: approximately £80,000.Another person who hasn’t fully lived up to his hype is Ben Davies. Although the former Preston North End defender has given it his all at Ibrox, most Rangers supporters won’t likely be too concerned about reports that he is planning to leave the team. But the fact that Rangers paid £4 million for him will worry them. After eight years of excellence with Preston, Davies secured a significant transfer to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in 2021.
However, he would not play in any league for the Anfield giants, and in 2022, following a loan spell at Sheffield United, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson approved a large-scale move for Davies.
Though the 28-year-old was essentially a left-footed Calvin Bassey stand-in, the Fulham star’s abilities have been greatly diminished.
A better long-term central defender will be Clement’s goal, especially considering John Souttar’s unpredictable injury history and Leon Balogun’s advanced age. Davies, who is under contract until 2026, needs to be let go in order for him to accomplish that.
Sam Lammers

- June 2023 is the date of signing.
Paid transfer fee: £3.5 million
Game cost: approximately £125,000.Is Sam Lammers the summer 2023 transfer window’s most disappointing addition? That tag might have belonged to someone like Cyriel Dessers, but recently, working with Philippe Clement, he has found his form again. Jose Cifuentes hasn’t performed well since leaving LAFC, despite the fact that the Ecuadorian only cost £1.2 million.
To be fair to Lammers, Kieran Dowell, the unfortunate former Norwich City player, has effectively vanished from sight, so he might be that man. Still, it would be difficult to argue with the Dutchman.Atalanta paid £3.5 million for his services, and even Clement is unable to get the most out of him.
Maybe this is the best he has to offer? Although Lammers is a respectable player in theory, it is still unclear where he is most effective. He doesn’t score enough goals, and his ability to be creative is also questionable.
Unless Clement pulls a miracle and shows he deserves the money Beale paid for him, Lammers will need to find a new place to live come summer.
Rangers will go up against Celtic for the striker known as the “best number nine” of his generation.

Celtic is expected to put up a fight for Rangers in the pursuit of Wolves striker Fabio Silva.
The 21-year-old hitman was reportedly attracting interest from Rangers, according to earlier reports from Portugal.
Now that the striker is no longer a factor in Gary O’Neil’s Wolves team, TEAMtalk is reporting that both Rangers and Celtic are looking to sign Fabio Silva on loan.
Both Celtic, who have struggled offensively this season, and Rangers, who have lost both Danilo and Kemper Roofe to injury, are rumored to be searching for a striker in January.
Wolves wonderkid hasn’t lived up to his potential.
The Old Firm rivals have frequently clashed in their pursuit of new players, and it appears that Fabio Silva and Wolves may need to make some decisions in January.
The Portuguese forward is obviously highly valued by the Molineux club, as evidenced by their reported £35.6 million expenditure to sign him from Porto in 2020 after he made his breakthrough as a teenager.
Silva was referred to as “the best number nine coming through his age group anywhere in Europe” at the time by Chinese Chairman Jeff Shi.
Despite the striker’s difficulties, Wolves has maintained Fabio Silva’s high status in the squad; in fact, the club gave him a new contract last summer.
In order to “help him develop to be the best player he possibly can be,” Technical Director Scott Sellars stated that the Premier League team sent Silva on loan to Anderlecht after making this decision.
It would seem that Wolves are very much open to loaning out striker Fabio Silva in order to fully utilize his potential, as the player has only scored once in ten appearances under the manager this season.
Regarding Fabio Silva, Rangers or Celtics?
Rangers and Celtic have real transfer appeal for any player, but it’s especially strong for players who want to increase their playing time and opportunities.
While dominance is the rule at the Old Firm, Fabio Silva must deal with his team being underdogs at Wolves throughout the Premier League season.
Securing a player of such talent would be seen as something of a coup for a Scottish side, as both Glasgow teams are vying for the championship.
However, if we remove the emotions from the game and match the two teams head-to-head, there can only be one victor for both Wolves and Fabio Silva.
Potentially easing any potential deal, Nils Koppen, the new director of recruitment for Rangers, would have been a member of the group that brought Fabio Silva to PSV in the second half of the previous campaign.
Even though both teams are still vying for awards, the Ibrox team is the only one playing in Europe during the second half of the season if we’re talking about a six-month loan.
