Rangers manager talks Million Manhoef
Philippe Clement was asked about the Million Manhoef links in a post-match interview with BBC Sport following the 2-1 Scottish Premiership defeat at Celtic Park.
The Belgian coach has been clear throughout his short tenure at Ibrox that he’ll be giving nothing away with regards prospective new signings.
Having already beaten Old Firm rivals Celtic to the signing of Fabio Silva, the Rangers boss continues to be tight-lipped about who the second addition to his Ibrox squad could be.
“I never speak about players we’re interested in or not,” said Clement. “Because then I can speak every day about rumours.
“There are so many rumours in Glasgow and so many things that are wrong.
“So we will speak about players who are in the building and with Fabio (Silva) it’s the case and he’s going to push also like the rest to make it a great season.
Asked about how many players the Rangers manager wants to add to the squad: “These are things we talked about with the board. Everybody is aligned about that and we will see what is possible in January.
“So everybody is working hard and pushing hard to get the maximum out of what we want but I want to see also that players are pushing to stay in the team, to stay in the club.”
Philippe Clement refuses to talk transfer targets
It’s clear Philippe Clement has his eye on specific transfer targets and whilst it’s not confirmed if Million Manhoef is one of them, the winger certainly fits the bill.
Young, talented, and ready to go to the next level, Rangers have lacked a natural right-winger for several seasons and it could be a potentially exciting signing for the club.

With ex-PSV recruitment chief Nils Koppen also playing a major role in the signing of Fabio Silva, alongside compatriot Phillipe Clement it’s not surprise Belgian duo will be central to any Rangers move for Million Manhoef.
