Rangers Bojan Miovski raid killed stone dead as ambitious Aberdeen name their price

Bojan Miovski is reportedly valued by Aberdeen at almost £5 million, which puts an end to any January Rangers interest in the striker.

According to reports, the 24-year-old Macedonian striker, who has already tallied 15 goals this season, is expecting interest from other teams.

Rangers are rumored to have kept an eye on the striker, as Philippe Clement’s team is rumored to be looking for a new hitman in January.

However, with Ibrox probably looking elsewhere, Aberdeen’s valuation of Bojan Miovski is reportedly north of £5 million, which makes the deal a little too high for the Rangers.

Aberdeen fixed the price for Bojan Miovski.

Should clubs be truly interested in Miovski, Aberdeen wants a club record sum north of the £5 million paid by Liverpool for Calvin Ramsay, according to a report from Sky Sports.

Although clubs in Germany, Italy, and Spain are reportedly keeping an eye on the forward’s circumstances, there hasn’t been any official interest in the attacker as of yet.

Aberdeen has been dealt the aces. With two and a half years remaining on his Pittodrie contract, Bojan Miovski has been making an impression since joining the Scottish Premiership from MTK in Hungary.

Lawrence Shankland of Hearts has also been linked to Rangers during this transfer window, but reports this week indicated the Gers were priced out of a move.

MORE STORIES OF RANGERS

By using the same reasoning to Bojan Miovski, Rangers have priced themselves out of any possible trade, given that the Jambos are reportedly only worth £3 million.

Rangers are looking to sign a striker.

It puts the Ibrox club in a difficult situation going into January, with their £21 million summer spending heavily scrutinized.

Sam Lammers (£3.5 million), Cyriel Dessers (£4.5 million), and Danilo (£6 million) received the most of the money, even if opinions on all three forwards are still very much divided.

Brazilian striker Danilo has hardly left the treatment table, and Lammers and Dessers in particular have been clear disappointments.
