There are several well-known players from Celtic and Rangers who are the front-runners to take Barry Robson’s place in the Aberdeen dugout.
After Rangers and Celtic’s Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen drew 1-1 at home, the club decided to fire manager Barry Robson.
A year ago, the former midfielder for the Dons was appointed to the position on an interim basis. He went on to lead the team to an amazing comeback up the table, which resulted in third place and European football qualifying.
During his memorable reign, Robson led Aberdeen to the Viaplay Cup final, where they eventually lost to Rangers at Hampden Park.
In order for Aberdeen to salvage its season, they will be eager to replace Robson in the dugout as quickly as feasible.
