After the loss to Hearts, Celtic’s blood pressure is high, therefore peace needs to be poured over their current problems.Celtic have now lost back-to-back Scottish Premiership games for the first time in ten years, which has put further strain on both Brendan Rodgers and the players.

While Mark Wilson was on the Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, a few Celtic supporters called in to voice their desire for Brendan Rodgers to be fired.

The former Bhoys player, however, was not having any of it, saying things like “I can’t get my head around this” and “there is just no way” that this should occur.

Brendan Rodgers has just been in charge of Celtic for “four or five months,” as Mark Wilson was quick to point out. Celtic is still leading the Scottish Premiership table.

The Northern Irishman had already taken over Scotland, so many were taken aback when he returned to Parkhead in the summer.

It’s not going as smoothly as he would have liked now that he’s back, but patience is required.

“Definitely not (at this point),” Wilson said in response to demands for Rodgers’ head. “Simply put, there is no way.

How far along is he in his second spell—four or five months along? Regardless of how you look at it, he is leading by five points, with two games remaining for the Rangers. That’s alright. But in January, there will be one of those games.

“When you are leading the league, it has to be the earliest moment to end things and salvage your season. That’s something I’ve never heard of.

“I simply cannot comprehend the necessity of acting promptly,” Under Beale, Rangers moved fast. Anyone can surely distinguish between Celtic and Aberdeen right now at the top of the league, where Michael Beale was playing. That must be simple to observe. Simply put, I don’t think Rodgers should be fired.

Time for Celtic board to step up

Yes, Rodgers must assume a great deal of responsibility as he is the one who practices every day.

Additionally, the players themselves have been criticized for their subpar performances on a regular basis, yet nothing appears to be changing.
