Manchester City star reacts as Rangers confirm Fabio Silva transfer

After Fabio Silva responded to the deal on Instagram, Matheus Nunes, a star for Manchester City, congratulated the striker on his loan move to Rangers.

When his move to Manchester City was announced, the £53 million man [ESPN], who had previously played for Wolves and Silva, offered some words of support to his former teammate.

With Philippe Clement eager to add a new striker to support their title challenge, Silva has moved to Rangers on a loan agreement that runs through the end of the current campaign.

Rangers

In order to confirm the agreement, Silva posted on Instagram on December 28. He wrote, “New club, new home.” Playing for the Rangers is a true pleasure for me, and I look forward to many more triumphs with them. Rangers, hurry up.

Nunez simply wrote “Vai,” which translates to “Go,” in response to the Instagram post, along with a red heart emoji to show his support for his former Wolves teammate. Nunez used this as a way to encourage the user.

Expectations are high.

In addition to supporters, the striker received supportive comments on his Instagram posts from a number of former teammates, including Nunes, former PSV sensation Xavi Simons, and current and former Wolves players, including Nelson Semedo and Francisco Trincao.

Silva has a lot of support from his former teammates, which may indicate how much of a positive influence he can have in the Ibrox locker room. He has obviously made a good impression on a lot of people he has come into contact with during his career.

Rangers

With Cyriel Dessers’ inconsistent play and Danilo and Kemar Roofe’s injuries, Rangers have struggled to find a reliable goal scorer this season. As a result, excitement is high for the Portuguese’s arrival at Ibrox.

Silva has the potential to become a fan and player favorite in Glasgow if he has a great start. Rangers will remember this as a pivotal moment in their season if Silva can lead Rangers over Celtic to the SPFL championship.
