According to Dujon Sterling, before the Rangers players leave the locker room, Philippe Clement wants them to be in the Kill Zone.

The Ibrox defender assisted Clement in extending his unbeaten streak since coming to Scotland to 12 games. Cifuentes was sent off against Dundee on Saturday, and the defender filled in in the midfield engine room. And Sterling thinks his teammates, who play Real Betis in the Europa League on Thursday night and Aberdeen in the Viaplay Cup final the following Sunday, are starting to internalize the winning mindset that his coach has termed the “Kill Zone.”

Sterling responded, “It is just a different mentality,” when asked what Clement had done to change the course of a team that toward the end of predecessor Michael Beale’s reign appeared to be without faith. It’s known as The Kill Zone by him. He wants us to be there from the very beginning, or even earlier during the warm-up. That has simply spread throughout the entire team. Everyone is now doing their role as a result.
