Rangers are leading the transfer chase for the signature of highly-rated winger Million Manhoef, according to a report.
Philippe Clement has already added to his squad with Fabio Silva and is looking to do more business with a left-back in his sights. He could also add further to his attacking ranks, though, and Gers are reportedly at the front of the line for Vitesse Arnhem winger Manhoef.
English Championship duo Leicester and Preston are also credited with an interest in the 21-year-old, but the Scottish Sun reports that the Ibrox side are frontrunners. It’s believed he’s been tracked for a year now, and new director of football recruitment Nils Koppen is aware of his fellow Dutchman’s abilities.
With 18 months left on his contract, he is thought to be available for around £2.5 million, which is seen as a bargain.
There were links to Rangers at the end of the summer window, and although nothing materialised, they have maintained their interest.
