“Here We Go” – Fabrizio Romano: Rangers have an agreement in place to finish signing him in January.

Fabrizio Romano gives 'here we go' to crucial Tottenham signing as official bid hits sweet spot

According to Fabrizio Romano, Rangers and Wolves have reached an agreement for Rangers to sign Fabio Silva on a loan.

On Thursday, December 28, the transfer expert provided an update on the unexpected transfer development on his personal Twitter page.

Silva is almost done signing the contract that will keep him at Ibrox until June, according to Romano, even though it does not include a permanent deal option.

The deal was reportedly pushed through in large part by director of football Nils Koppen and manager Philippe Clement.

Enter that.

Although Rangers supporters had hoped to add one or more players during the January transfer window, no one had anticipated that the first of those deals would be completed so quickly.

This has been a quickly developing story; earlier on Thursday, December 28, Italian journalist Luca Bendoni revealed that Silva would be signed by either Celtic or Rangers.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed within a few hours that the Gers had obtained his signature before anyone else, which is as good as official confirmation from a club website in this day and age.

Although Silva may not have found success at Wolves, he is still a very talented forward and will surely strengthen the Gers’ lineup in the second half of the season.

In January, a forward was needed because Danilo was injured again and Cyriel Dessers might be heading to the Africa Cup of Nations.

Since the window hasn’t officially opened yet, there’s a good chance that more players—possibly even more—will be added to Ibrox in the upcoming weeks.

This is a great way to maintain the positive vibes ahead of such a big game against Celtic.
