Giovanni van Bronckhorst joining Michael Beale down south could lead to the ex-Rangers manager grudge match no one knew they wanted.
It coincides with rumors circulating regarding Swansea City in the English Championship, the vacant manager’s position, and Dutch coach Van Bronckhorst.
We must stress that the sounds surround rumours and stories on betting odds but there is plenty of online conversation around the ex-Arsenal and Barcelona star with regards the post.
A candidate for Swansea City’s opening is Giovanni Van Bronckhorst.
The former head coach of Feyenoord and Rangers made it to the Europa League final before being fired in 2022.

It has also just been confirmed that Michael Beale will manage Sunderland. Beale replaced Van Bronckhorst last November and was fired less than a year later.
Rangers fans will be intrigued by the situation, and they might be in for a handshake-free post-Ibrox grudge match.
Michael Beale vs. Giovanni van Bronckhorst: A resentment match?
After taking over as manager of Rangers in October, after Giovanni van Bronckhorst was fired in the lead-up to the World Cup, the Englishman Beale was fired.
Although the Dutchman had just led Rangers to the Scottish Cup and the Europa League Final, a terrible string of injuries had led to defeat in the Champions League, a loss in the championship match, and harsh criticism for their unprofessional play.
Gio would then be replaced by former Ibrox assistant Michael Beale, who had been replaced by Van Bronckhorst and his backroom team when Beale followed Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa.
However, prior to that, Beale made an appearance in the stands during a 4-1 Van Bronckhorst triumph over Aberdeen, leaving the former QPR manager in Glasgow with a lasting impression reminiscent of the Grim Reaper.
Four weeks prior to the former Feyenoord manager’s dismissal, Van Bronckhorst himself is said to have expressed his displeasure with the coach’s attendance at the game, which occurred during the height of Rangers’ pressure on the coach.
Because of this, if Giovanni van Bronckhorst were to take over at Swansea City and play against Michael Beale at Sunderland, something tells us that love would still be there.

A narrative of two past Rangers managers
For Ibrox supporters who eventually turned against both managers during their separate tenures in charge, this post-Rangers grudge match is an enticing offer.
Between the two, former player Giovanni van Bronckhorst has a greater amount of credibility because of his success in the Scottish Cup and Europa League, which solidified his legacy as Ibrox manager.
Beale, who never succeeded at Ibrox despite always talking a good game, has come under intense, sometimes harsh, criticism from Rangers supporters since his departure.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst isn’t the only name being floated as the new manager of the Championship team, even though the Swansea situation is still unresolved.
In addition to Spurs coach Chris Davies and interim manager Alan Sheehan, Notts County manager Luke Williams is considered a strong contender.
