The Nigerian has found himself playing a lot because Danilo arrived later than him and then sustained two very major injuries, even though he doesn’t seem quite believable in a Light Blues shirt. Considering the stick he has been given, he has provided nine goals, which isn’t too bad. He has also created memorable moments, such as a beautiful goal in the away victory over Betis.

This has occurred despite making 30 appearances in the first half of the season; however, Silva’s loan signing from Wolves may put his spot in the team in jeopardy. There may be more offensive reinforcements on the transfer market since Philippe Clement is still active.

Dessers is aware that there will be tough competition for playing time at a team of that magnitude. He’s prepared for it. Additionally, he maintains that since the management change, the statistics show that he has improved.

“There will always be competition at a top club like Rangers,” he stated. It can only be advantageous. I really want to win trophies here, but I’m not here for myself; I’m here for the team. Who scores the goal or wins the game doesn’t matter to me.

The most essential thing is that I just want to win. Fabio is a talented player, so I hope he can be a big assistance to us, but I also hope I can accomplish my goals. I believe there is a significant difference between my stats before and after the manager arrived.

There is still room for improvement, so I’m working hard every day to improve my form and strength in the hopes that we can help the team win a lot of games. We discussed it, but we don’t have to talk about it all the time at this point. I am aware of my abilities and that he appreciates my traits, so I just need to put in a lot of effort and defend the team.

Under Clement, the Gers have only dropped one game, and the 28-year-old is certain that they will maintain this level of play for a thrilling finish to the season.

That’s all; we’ve had a great two months so far,” he continued. “We need to maintain this momentum and continue to improve since we have won nearly every game save one. I believe that our team still has a lot of room for improvement, and if we can do that, a lot of wonderful things will be achievable.
