The Senegal international scored on his second game back from a long-term injury layoff against Celtic on Sunday (7 April) to help the Gers draw 3-3 at Ibrox.

Rangers are reportedly eager to secure the loanee permanently this summer. However, they are concerned that Brighton might set a price that’s too high.
Sources suggest that Brighton values him at £10-15 million, potentially surpassing Rangers’ previous club-record £12 million move for Tore Andre Flo.
Rangers are considering a permanent deal for Sima following news of a £20 million boost.
If Rangers win the Scottish Premiership, they can directly qualify for next season’s league phase; otherwise, they’ll have to go through qualifying rounds.
Sima, who is versatile in playing on both flanks and as a striker, has scored 16 goals and provided two assists in 35 appearances this season. Despite a hamstring injury in January, he has recently made substitute appearances in Scottish Premiership games.
The 22-year-old’s contract with Brighton is due to expire in June 2025.

He is yet to make an appearance for the south coast club.
Rangers sit second in the Scottish top-flight but are just one point behind Celtic with a game in hand on their rivals.
