Jack Butland concedes that “we needed to hear it” and thanks Rangers supporters for jeering the team during Michael Beale’s tenure.

Jack Butland makes big save for Rangers early in second half

Butland believes that at Rugby Park, Killie will squeeze opponents until they are barely breathing. However, it was his spectacular save against Matty Kennedy at 1-0 that silenced Derek McInnes’s critics and opened the door for a triumph sealed by goals from Tom Lawrence and James Tavernier.
“At this point in the season, it’s all about moments,” he stated. Something like that, I suppose, takes the wind out of their sails and provides us with a small amount of salvation. If that had been accepted, things would have become very tough from there. However, this segment of the season is centered around Tav and Tom’s moments.
Prior to the England squad’s friendly with Brazil later this month, the Englishman has been heavily favored for a return. That would be incredible, Butland remarked. I’ve always expressed my desire to return there and take part in that once more.
“I have never avoided that situation. I’ve always maintained that playing frequently and my performances must come first. However, I’ll gladly put on the kit again and rejoin the squad if that’s all it takes for me to get selected again.

It would be great to be chosen, and I believe the squad will be revealed in two weeks, as it normally is on the Thursday prior. I haven’t spoken to anyone at all. But without a question, if that were to happen, it would give me a great lift.

“I’m doing fantastic, I love playing football, and I’m in a wonderful spot right now. The overall vibe of everything at Rangers is fantastic. If I could return there with England, that would be the cherry on top.
