ANNOUNCEMENTS Rangers, in the opinion of Clyde commentator, have “made a mockery” of Peter Lawwell’s Celtic claim.

Hugh Keevins asserts that remarks made by Celtic CEO Peter Lawwell have been “made a mockery” by Rangers’ early success in their January transfer transaction.

The outspoken Clyde Superscoreboard commentator also asserted that a recent Parkhead statement was “a pile of nonsense” in light of the strikes that took place over the weekend involving Mohamed Diomande, Oscar Cortes, and Fabio Silva.

Clyde pundit believes Rangers have “made a mockery” of Peter Lawwell Celtic claim

The remarks follow the three summer acquisitions for Rangers scoring goals in the team’s 5-0 thrashing of Hearts over the weekend.

This week, Celtic chairman Peter Lawwell bemoaned a dearth of transfer activity and called the January window “notoriously difficult” following the publication of the team’s annual records.

Rangers “mock” Peter Lawwell’s assertions.

Hugh Keevins was blunt in his assessment of the Rangers’ transfer activity when he spoke with Clyde Superscoreboard on Saturday afternoon (24/02).

The commentator says that in a devastating assessment of our Old Firm rival’s transfer dealings, the early success of Oscar Cortes, Mohamed Diomande, and Fabricio Silva “explodes” Celtic’s recent statement.

Hugh Keevins stated, “It does explode the theory that you can’t do good business in January.”

“That hypothesis is exposed as a bundle of crap, and the Rangers fans are relishing it because the Celtic stance implies that you can’t have a successful January.

Ibrox transfer company strengthens the tilt in the title

Fans of the Rangers are undoubtedly thrilled about what the three new players the team brought in January will bring to Ibrox, and first impressions indicate this has been a wise transfer window.

It has been demonstrated that there is value to be gained in the winter, even though all three players were signed on loan—with Mohamed Diomande being the only one who is currently certain to head to Ibrox in the summer.

Since joining the team, Fabio Silva has scored three goals; Oscar Cortes has backed up his strong start with a goal against Hearts; and Mohamed Diomande has scored the first goal in back-to-back games.

The Rangers roster has undoubtedly benefited from the addition of all three players. The challenge now is to find the proper consistency to consistently contribute to the club.

Rangers are now doing well, and they really cannot give up on winning the championship as Celtics manager Brendan Rodgers begins to feel the heat.
