Very Perfect Coach leaves QPR after eight years to join Tottenham

Manisha Tailor is leaving QPR after more than eight years to become Tottenham’s International Development Coach.

Tailor joined QPR in 2016 as a part-time coach with the Under-9s. She has held positions as Lead Foundation Phase Coach, Assistant Head of Coaching, and Head of Coaching Development since January this year.

“I have had a memorable journey and will always be grateful for the wonderful opportunities that have been presented to me to aid my personal and professional development,” Tailor stated.

Chris Ramsey, the former Head of Coaching and Technical Director, took me under his wing as a volunteer in 2016. The allyship and transformational leadership, combined with the desire to work hard and improve myself, have helped me acquire greater flexibility and resilience, resulting in the trajectory I’ve had in my career at QPR.

“I want to put on record my gratitude to all the staff, players and parents for their support and wish the club all the very best for the future.”

Academy Director Alex Carroll remarked, “We are extremely grateful to Manisha for the significant contribution she has made during her time at the Academy.”

“Manisha has clearly encouraged the individual growth of players and coaches, and she should be quite proud of the work she has done.

“The fact that Manisha is taking on a new challenge with a Premier League team while still coaching on the international arena for England Women’s U15s demonstrates her personal resilience and ambition to break down barriers.

“Everyone at the Academy wishes Manisha the very best of luck for her exciting next steps.”
