Dale, who previously played for Crewe, was part of Oxford’s winning squad against Peterborough United in the play-off semi-final first leg. The return match is set for Wednesday at the Weston Homes Stadium.

Having made 23 league appearances for Blackpool, primarily as a left wing-back, Dale ended his time with the Seasiders after Deadline Day, accumulating a total of 47 games during his stay.
