The new college football video game’s cover features a player from the Ohio State football team. EA Sports College Football 25 will be released in July. However, we learned what the game’s cover would be a few months in advance. It will feature a variety of college football players rather than just one, as it used to.
Quinshon Judkins is the Buckeyes’ representative. That’s interesting because he has yet to play a down for Ohio State.He recently transferred in during the offseason. I thought that was an odd decision until I discovered how Judkins and every other college football player ended up on that cover.

Apparently, all of the players on the cover signed separate NIL contracts in order to appear on the cover. My guess is that they signed with EA Sports directly. The terms of those NIL agreements have not been disclosed. It makes sense now that Judkins is the Ohio State football player featured on the cover.
I, like many other college football fans, cannot wait for the game. I’ve already put it on my PlayStation 5 wishlist. Once the game is released, many people will play it. Many Ohio State football players will also participate. College football players across the country will have the opportunity to play as themselves for the first time in a decade.
The players’ performance on the field will also have an impact on their overall rating for the game throughout the year. So, if Judkins and the other Buckeyes play well throughout the season, they will perform even better in the video game. It’s an exciting moment for Judkins to be the first Ohio State cover athlete in the history of the game.
