Swansea City head coach Luke Williams recently shared that he remains in contact with Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, particularly after the Dragons’ intense battle for the National League title against Notts County in the 2022-23 season. Despite Williams’ Notts County side narrowly missing out on the top spot in the fifth tier to Wrexham, they managed to secure promotion through the play-offs. Williams received congratulatory messages from Reynolds and McElhenney following this achievement. He also mentioned on BBC Wales’ Feast of Football podcast that he extended his well wishes to the duo after Wrexham’s successful promotion to League One last month.
