Blackpool faithful make transfer demands- including 28-goal Notts County man and familiar face at Swansea City

Blackpool supporters have voiced their transfer desires for the upcoming 2024/25 season. With the summer transfer window set to open next month, the Seasiders are eager to make significant changes as part of their rebuilding process following their failure to reach the League One playoffs in the recent season. On social media platforms, fans have been deliberating on potential signings after experiencing mixed results over the past year. Here are some of their opinions:

@HereLiesJeff: “(Jordan) Rhodes, (George) Byers, and (Hayden) Coulson are priorities. I’d also like to see us take a chance on Macaulay Langstaff; his impressive 28 goals in League Two indicate he can step up.”

@Sleet_Thomas: “Rhodes, Byers, and Coulson should be brought in permanently. Brendan Wiredu from the Cods could strengthen our defense post-Marvin Ekpiteta’s departure. We should also consider signing (Jonson) Clarke-Harris from Peterborough and (Chris) Clarke-Conn from Altrincham on a free transfer.”

@Big1Bloomers: “Our loan signings last season were excellent; signing players like Rhodes, (Karamoko) Dembele, Coulson, or Byers would be fantastic.”

@northwestpix: “Integrating some of our youth players alongside new signings like Rhodes would be great.”

@Trell_231: “Byers is the standout choice; his impact on our results has been evident.”

@Joe_russ: “Bringing Yates back from Swansea would be a great move.”

The discussion extended to Facebook:

Chris Harrison: “Byers is a must, and we should also target Clarke-Harris from Peterborough.”

Billy Morris: “Looking at Cameron Brannagan from Oxford and possibly bringing back Jerry Yates on loan.”

Dazz Tait: “Jerry Yates should definitely return.”

Steve Tesc: “George Byers is crucial; he’s the midfield leader we’ve lacked for years. Signing Rhodes, who seems keen, along with Coulson would be a strong start.”

Olly Thompson: “Byers is essential. If Hubby (James Husband) renews his contract and we get Yates back, it would be fantastic.”
