Although Newcastle United continues to abide by the Premier League’s financial regulations in order to avoid a similar fate, Nottingham Forest anticipates learning their punishment in the coming days.
Following accusations against the club earlier this year for violating the top flight’s profit and sustainability criteria, a hearing was held last week to determine Forest’s punishment. Nuno’s squad, who are now in 17th place, could lose points as a result of this penalty, which was previously given to Everton in what was considered a standard punishment.
