Man United reportedly believe that Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson would rather join Man City.
It’s been widely reported that Man United will be looking to undergo a major midfield overhaul in the summer.
Man United are targeting Anderson, Adam Wharton, Alex Acott, and Carlos Baleba as potential replacement for the soon to depart Casemiro.
According to The I, United now believe that the 23-year-old would prefer a move to local rivals Man City over a move to Old Trafford.
Anderson has been a rare bright spark for a struggling Forest side, playing every minute of their Premier League campaign so far (1980).
