Kidderminster Harriers, a non-league team, signs former MK Dons flop sign.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, a former loan player for MK Dons, has joined Kidderminster Harriers to play football in England once more.

The 33-year-old, who joined on loan from Queens Park Rangers, appeared in four games for the Dons during their disastrous Championship season in 2016.

After becoming well-known at Bristol City, Emmanuel-Thomas left Loftus Road in 2018 to pursue a career abroad. He first worked with PTT Rayong in Thailand before spending time with Livingston and Aberdeen in Scotland. He signed with Phil Brown’s Harriers this morning to resume his English football career.

“Jay is someone I have been trying to get a hold off for probably four or five years,” Brown stated. “I’ve kept a close eye on him over the years. He has a huge presence, a distinct personality, and all of those qualities that he should bring to the celebration.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve really been working him hard, and hopefully, he’ll contribute in some way to the games this coming week.

“It’s a bit early to make any statements at the moment but I am delighted to have Jay on board.”
