MISHANDLING CLEARED FROM BENGALS THE STATUS OF JOE BURROW’S INJURIES AFTER INVESTIGATION
The 44-year-old joined the Dallas Cowboys as an offensive assistant and quality control coach in 2007—his first NFL position. In 2011, he was promoted to assistant offensive line coach, and in 2013, he was named tight ends coach.
Prior to moving to southern California in 2018, Phillips served in the latter capacity for Washington from 2014 to 2018.
Wade Phillips, a former NFL coach under whom Wes worked while at Dallas, is the father of Phillips.
