Ny Carr

Size: 170-pounds, 5-foot-11-inch

Role: Wide Receiver

Moultrie, Georgia’s Colquitt County High School

Recruitment: On October 8, 2023, he made a commitment to Mario Cristobal and the Canes after initially committing to Georgia. Ohio State, a factory wide receiver, was among the numerous other colleges that extended offers to Carr. Following Carr were Tennessee, Auburn, Florida State, Michigan, Florida, and numerous other states.

Strengths: Carr possesses exceptional straight-line speed and is a make-you-miss player. After the catch, his stop-and-start technique can yield significant yardage. Because of his abilities, he may also be used as a wide receiver or in the slot.

Lastly, Carr is a versatile athlete who can be used as a return man and with a number of trick plays, much like current Miami receiver Nathaniel “Ray Ray” Joseph. The goal remains the same. Place the football in Carr’s space and observe his work.

Areas for Improvement: As with any young prospect, keep learning the subtleties of wide receiver play. In addition, he has to put on a little extra weight. Carr excels at speed, but he could use to gain another ten pounds of muscle.
