Jimmy Butler was not available for the Miami Heat’s Wednesday night matchup against the Orlando Magic.
Instead, fans were treated to a masterclass by Tyler Herro that showed just why he was sorely missed. Herro helped the Heat win after a dismal loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves with 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. In each and every statistical category, he led all Heat players.
Herro is disproving trade speculations that sent him out of Miami during the offseason by having an All-Star-caliber start to the season.
But Herro wasn’t the only one. Bam Adebayo, who finished with 18 points, was right behind him offensively and proved to the supporters why they hadn’t seen him in the starting lineup. Seven Miami players, including Haywood Highsmith, Josh Richardson, and Thomas Bryant, scored in double figures.
With just under 5.5 minutes remaining, Miami had a 24-point advantage, but that lead decreased as the quarter went on. Fans of the Heat were worried that the club would blow their significant lead despite their advantage.
A user remarked, “3 1/2 quarters of some great basketball.” “A win is a win no matter what, but I need to figure out how to play the entire 12 minutes in the fourth.”
Fans were still worried about the team’s incapacity to finish strong in the fourth quarter despite the team’s triumph. The fan base’s desire to see reciprocation has been a recurring theme this season.
