Bane has been playing basketball three-on-three for the last two weeks, and in the last few days, he has advanced to five-on-five. He might start playing again this weekend.

Coach Taylor Jenkins stated, “He’s working really hard, so I envision him back in the lineup in a couple games here.”

Before the injury, Bane was having a stellar season, averaging 24.4 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.6 rebounds in 37 games. The injury happened on January 12 during a game against the Clippers.

The team’s most recent update, released on February 22, stated that Bane’s timeline would take three to five weeks.

In an attempt to play in games before the season ends, Brandon Clarke, who had a torn left Achilles tendon last March, will begin five-on-five workouts this weekend.

Jenkins expressed being “really encouraged by all the signs he’s been showing.””He is on time. We’re hoping to see him in a Grizzlies uniform by the end of the month.

A $52 million, four-year contract extension that Clarke signed in 2022 is currently in its first year.
