Roy Keane has delivered his assessment on the performance of Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford against Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

For the Red Devils, Marcus Rashford got the game underway. The 26-year-old attacker was used in a 4-2-3-1 formation by United boss Erik ten Hag on the left of an attacking midfield-three.
The 26-year-old continued to play till the very end of the second half. In the 40th minute of play, he scored United’s second goal of the game.
It was also a masterfully executed goal that best exhibited Rashford’s abilities.
While covering the game for Sky Sports, United great Roy Keane expressed his admiration for Rashford’s first-half performance.

“The way he’s sprinting in behind, especially for the first goal, you knew he was at it right away. Being effective in possession is all well and good, but you also need runners, and he is providing them.
Jim Beglin, a former left-back for Liverpool, was equally thrilled with Rashford’s goal.
On Premier League Productions, Begin stated: “It’s a really lovely finish.” Manchester United has had a very tough time finding room anywhere near the Tottenham box; they have to be effective, and they are.
“It goes through the defender’s legs, giving Rashford just enough room, and it’s difficult for the goalie.” It is a deftly executed ending.
I think Marcus Rashford needs to improve on his performance against Tottenham.
Marcus Rashford played well against Tottenham Hotspur, in my opinion. The 26-year-old attacker for Manchester United was a serious threat to the Spurs defense whenever he was on the field, even if I don’t think he was playing at his best.
Rashford tried two dribbles, made one clearance, took 41 touches, attempted two shots, and placed in two crosses. His pass accuracy was 56.3%.
From my perspective, Rashford needs to step up right now and restore consistency to his game. He has a lot of potential, as we all know, but he must consistently perform well.
