One of the greatest signal callers in school history, Jeff Brohm, will head the University of Louisville football program back to his alma institution, Josh Heird, vice president and director of athletics, announced on Thursday.

Brohm’s No. 11 jersey is one of 26 that the program has honored throughout its existence. He is the 24th head coach in school history.

While Brohm was at West Lafayette, three Boilermakers were selected All-Americans. Prior to wide receiver David Bell and defensive end George Karlaftis earning All-America honors following the 2021 season, Moore became the first true freshman consensus first team All-American in Big Ten history in 2018.
