BREAKING NEWS: Real Madrid inform Liverpool target their exit decision after potential Salah replacement rejects them

According to reports, Liverpool are among several Premier League clubs interested in Real Madrid and Brazil standout Rodrygo.

The 23-year-old left Brazilian outfit Santos in 2019 as he joined Real Madrid in a deal believed to be worth around £40m.

Rodrygo recently disclosed that he chose to go to Real Madrid instead of joining Liverpool for a meager €3 million. This means that he could have easily ended up in the Premier League.

We didn’t close the deal because I didn’t want to, Rodrygo stated to The Guardian. Despite the excellent offer, I preferred to remain in Santos. The career path they had assured me of would have been excellent as well. In order to get ready for European football, I planned to complete my education in England.

Playing in Europe had always been a dream of mine. Everything was excellent, but my desire overruled everything else. My intention was to remain at Santos and create some history at the club. That’s exactly what transpired: I was able to realize my dream of representing Santos. I did, however, come close to visiting Liverpool.

Against Manchester City, Rodrygo was outstanding
The international player from Brazil has shown to be an excellent addition to Real Madrid. In his 209 games for the La Liga powerhouse, he has 40 assists and 54 goals.

Despite this, Rodrygo has been connected to a move before summertime as it’s been speculated that Endrick and Kylian Mbappe’s summer arrivals may reduce his playing time the following season.

Rodrygo has been strongly linked to both Manchester United and Liverpool in recent weeks, but it’s been reported that he has already “said no” to the Red Devils after becoming “seduced” by their Premier League rivals.

“Several clubs are making it known to the player’s representatives that they would be keen to take him if he became available and/or unsettled,” according to an HITC report.

According to reports, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are “kept informed by intermediaries,” while Liverpool and Man City are “maintaining a watching brief on Rodrygo’s situation.”

Real Madrid has allegedly “already told the player that his future is in no doubt” despite this. The report provides an explanation.
Rodrygo recently stated that he is not thinking about his future at Real Madrid due to the possible arrival of Mbappe and Endrick.
“Yes, there are a lot of us among the players who attack.” We’ll wait to hear the coach’s decision. In a Marca interview, Rodrygo stated, “I think it’s a coach’s problem… a good problem and I’m calm.”
“I don’t think anything, I’m just thinking about being focused on this season and finishing it well, with as many titles as possible,” he continued, speaking about his future.
