Liverpool star sends brilliant Celtic message to title hero amid rumour he could make summer Parkhead move

Liverpool’s Caoimhin Kelleher has been linked with a potential transfer to Celtic this summer. Amidst these transfer rumors, Kelleher has expressed his satisfaction with Celtic’s recent title victory.

Celtic secured the Premiership trophy with a commanding 5-0 win over Kilmarnock, thanks to goals from Matt O’Riley, Adam Idah, James Forrest, and Daizen Maeda. Captain Callum McGregor is set to lift the trophy again this weekend against St Mirren.

The victory has attracted congratulations from numerous prominent figures, with many taking to Adam Idah’s Instagram to commend the forward, who is on loan from Norwich City. Among the well-wishers is Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who has been rumored to be a summer target for Celtic as a replacement for the retiring Joe Hart, the current number one at Celtic.

Caoimhin Kelleher expressed his enthusiasm by commenting, “Love it you,” on Adam Idah’s Instagram post. The two are teammates on the Republic of Ireland national team. Former Celtic and current Norwich City player Shane Duffy, as well as Irish winger James McClean, also left congratulatory messages, with Duffy saying “Benzi!” and McClean adding “love it big fella.”

Adam Idah, who is currently on loan from Norwich City, shared his feelings about his time at Celtic with Celtic TV. He reflected on his journey and the support he received, stating, “Unbelievable. I had a tough start to the season, my confidence was low and ever since I arrived I’ve been so welcomed in. I hope I repaid that to the fans and to the players and look, I’m over the moon to be here.

“The crowd are unbelievable. What the boys have done tonight has been amazing. Not just tonight, but the whole season. There’s been so many ups and downs, so it’s fantastic to enjoy it with everyone.

“Like we said before, we enjoy the pressure and when the times get tough we’re the ones who get going.”

Idah’s future remains uncertain as his loan period comes to an end, but his positive experience at Celtic could influence his next steps.
