The France international suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture last summer, therefore he hasn’t featured in a competitive match under Pochettino yet. After joining the Blues in the summer of 2022, Fofana left Leicester City due to injury, and in the two years thereafter, he has only made 20 appearances for the team across all competitions.
