JUST IN: QPR talent targeted as Leeds United prepare for £12m sale….

QPR has released several development players, one of whom is now reportedly being pursued by Plymouth Argyle. With Marti Cifuentes preparing the team for next season, QPR supporters are getting a clearer picture of their squad’s direction, aiming to avoid relegation battles.

The club has confirmed the departure of some players as their contracts ended, attracting interest from other clubs. QPR’s news was featured alongside Millwall and Leeds United in Tuesday’s transfer roundup.

One notable release is defender Arkell Juke-Boyd, part of the ten players released from QPR’s Development Squad. Juke-Boyd, 21, garnered interest from Championship and League One clubs after a successful loan spell at Torquay United, where he was named Young Player of the Season after contributing six goals in 17 games. Plymouth Argyle and Rotherham United are reportedly among the clubs eyeing him, per Football Insider.

Meanwhile, Millwall anticipates transfer interest in striker Zian Flemming this summer, possibly from newly-promoted Ipswich Town, as they seek to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Premier League campaign, as reported by London News Online.

Flemming was the subject of transfer interest last summer.

The player has another year left on his contract at The Den, but Millwall hold the option for a further 12 months after that. Flemming was subject to multiple bids from Burnley after their promotion last summer, which were rejected despite a potential club record sale.

Leeds United prepare for £12 million sale

Leeds United intends to offload Brendan Aaronson during the upcoming summer transfer window, regardless of whether they secure promotion to the Premier League through the Championship playoffs or not. Football Insider has reported that the 23-year-old has been deemed to have ‘no future’ at Elland Road. This decision comes as Aaronson has been on loan at Union Berlin in the Bundesliga for this season.

Aaronson was brought to Leeds United from Red Bull Salzburg for £25 million in 2022 and is under contract with the club until 2027. However, his market value is said to have decreased to £12 million since his transfer to Leeds United.
