SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A previous student at Evangel Christian Academy was drafted to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

On April 27, Myles Cole, who previously attended Evangel Christian Academy and then committed to the University of Louisiana Monroe to play college football, was drafted to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Cole played at Louisiana-Monroe from 2018 to 2021. In 34 games, Monroe had 41 tackles and 1.5 sacks. After the 2021 season, Cole transferred to Texas Tech University and played in 25 games, ending with 44 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

Cole also participated in the 2024 Senior Bowl and 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.
