“It’s not his fault” – Claim made on Kayden Jackson’s Ipswich Town future

The signing of Ali Al-Hamadi by Ipswich in January from League Two outfit AFC Wimbledon may have an impact on one of his new teammates’ prospects.

Wimbledon placed a £1.2 million price tag on Al-Hamadi in the summer. It was exclusively disclosed by Football League World that he was being watched by Championship and Premier League teams at the same time. He made his move during the winter window, but no deal was made at the beginning of the season.

The East Anglia Daily Times reports that Ipswich was the team to buy the teenage forward from the Dons for an initial sum of reportedly little over £1 million, with add-ons that may push that amount considerably higher.

He has participated in three club games. On Wednesday night, he scored his first goal for Ipswich with a late penalty that he carefully won and converted. However, his presence can be a hint to one of the other Town players that their time is running out.

At the end of the current campaign, Kayden Jackson’s contract with the club comes to an end, and by the time the 2024–25 season rolls around, the £1.6 million signing might not be at Portman Road. A pundit for Football League World who is an Ipswich Town fan does not believe it would be a negative thing.

Ipswich Town supporter Henry from FLW has stated that he hopes Town would let Jackson go when his contract expires.

“I think, unfortunately, technically he’s not good enough to be in the position that Ipswich are in, so people love to sue him as a scapegoat,” he added. They’re not talented enough to pose a threat to advance to the Premier League, which is akin to what happened to Freddie Ladapo.

It’s a different scenario when he plays on the right since he can utilize his quickness. Playing at the top is an entirely other matter.

“Al-Hamadi’s arrival raises the possibility that Jackson may be let go, which is a good thing considering how long he’s been a member of the team. He has supported the team during the darkest period of its existence. Although it’s not his fault, I believe—and I hope—that IPswich will try to let him leave and that he won’t be involved in [Kieran] McKenna’s future plans. only because they’ll have a right-winger with greater technical ability who can compete with or even outperform Wes Burns.”

The forward will have been with the team for almost six years when his contract expires. He was a member of the team during a difficult time, as FLW’s Ipswich fan pundit stated. The East Anglia Daily Times said that the previous owner Marcus Evans paid an unprecedented amount of money for him. At the conclusion of the 2021–2022 season, the outlet called his experience with the team an emotional roller coaster. This was not your typical roller coaster; instead, it was one of those where you spent part of the ride above ground and most of it below in complete darkness.

He was on the side of the Ipswich side that lost the Championship and then came back, although he never really stood out.

His six-season output is in no way worth the money they spent for him, and since McKenna took over, he hasn’t demonstrated enough to be considered a valuable member of a squad that is on the verge of being in the top division of English football.
