Ipswich Winger back in training but Forward Still Out.

Wideman Wes Burns is back in training, according to manager Kieran McKenna, and he might be included in the squad for this evening’s home match against his former team, Bristol City. However, Nathan Broadhead, another Wales international, is still out.

Both players missed Saturday’s 2-0 victory against Plymouth Argyle due to calf and thigh issues, respectively, that occurred during the 3-1 home victory over Birmingham City ten days ago.

McKenna stated on the club website, “Wes trained yesterday and we’ll see how he is this morning. Nathan is not going to be available, he’s certainly not ready.”

“We’ll make a decision following our final session before the game.

We usually enjoy playing at Portman Road under the lights, so we’re looking forward to this game because everyone is in a good mood and has recovered well from the weekend.

“The boys are here this morning, and we’ll do our last practice, which will be a very short practice to get ready for the game. We’ll exert every effort to ensure that we’re prepared.

Massimo Luongo, a midfield player, is once again expected to miss this evening’s match after missing the one on Saturday as well owing to a viral virus.
