On Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals were able to get a second straight win, with quarterback Jake Browning and company able to get the best of the Indianapolis Colts, who came into this game as one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

Once superstar quarterback Joe Burrow went down with a season-ending injury recently, the consensus was that the Bengals would no longer be a serious threat to deal with in the AFC.

However, that hasn’t been the case, with Browning being able to do enough under center to keep the Bengals playing competitive football, resulting in Cincinnati being one game over .500 at 7-6.

Even though Browning had a great performance against the Colts on Sunday, as he scored three touchdowns, he did have a bit of an injury scare, which turned out to be cramps.

Browning talked about what he called a “pretty dumb” injury after the game via Mike Petraglia of the Jungle Roar Podcast.

Despite the injury that clearly frustrated Browning, he continues to make an impression on this team while shouldering the load under center for Burrow.

Even though the AFC North division title is out of the question for the Bengals at this point, with the Baltimore Ravens running away with it, Cincinnati still has a chance to make a playoff push late in the season.

After taking down the Colts, the Bengals will have some tough challenges to finish the regular season, as they will face the Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cleveland Browns in their final four games.
