Star to be sold by Hull City for £20 million this summer, subject to certain requirements

Hull City finds themselves in a promising position in the Championship, with a squad capable of challenging for promotion to the Premier League. However, if they fail to secure promotion, they may face the need to sell some key players in the summer transfer window.

Despite three consecutive draws, Hull City currently occupies the final playoff spot in the Championship, two points ahead of seventh-place Norwich City. Manager Liam Rosenior has done an impressive job, considering Hull’s 15th-place finish last season.

Rosenior made significant improvements to the squad throughout the season, signing players like Jaden Philogene from Aston Villa, Fabio Carvalho, and Abdulkadir Omur. One standout performer for the team has been center-back Jacob Greaves, who has made 35 appearances in all competitions this season and recently captained the team.

EFL pundit Carlton Palmer believes that Greaves may leave the club, especially if Hull fails to secure promotion. Despite being under contract until 2026, a substantial offer could see him move to a higher level. Palmer suggests that Hull could demand between £15-20 million for Greaves, who he believes is destined to play at the highest level.

In the event that Hull does not achieve promotion, Palmer anticipates Greaves playing in the Premier League next season, potentially for a club like Everton or another top-flight team.
