Hull City, Derby County, and West Brom are poised to make a move for a Sheffield Wednesday attacker.

Hull City, Derby County, and West Bromwich Albion are reportedly considering making a move for Sheffield Wednesday’s Josh Windass. The 30-year-old’s contract expires this summer, and although Sheffield Wednesday is working on a new deal for him for the 2024/25 season, Windass could explore other options if an agreement isn’t reached. Despite facing injury setbacks during the 2023/24 season, Windass ended strongly with three goals in the final three matches.

The Windass name carries weight in Hull due to his father Dean’s legacy with the Tigers. Other clubs showing interest include Stoke City and Championship newcomers Derby County, along with West Bromwich Albion. Windass has previously been linked with a move abroad, including potential interest from Major League Soccer (MLS) during the January transfer window, but he stayed with Sheffield Wednesday and helped them avoid relegation to League One.
