Ajax has reportedly shown interest in Hull City star Jaden Philogene, according to journalist Tom Collomosse. The 22-year-old, who joined Hull City from Aston Villa last summer in a £5 million move, has been a standout performer for the Championship promotion hopefuls. His impressive form has attracted attention from various clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur. Philogene, who had a successful loan spell at Cardiff City last season, has contributed eight goals and six assists in 22 league appearances for Hull City this season. Despite Aston Villa having a £15 million buy-back clause in his contract, there is speculation that Philogene could be tempted by a move to Tottenham Hotspur. Adding to the interest, Ajax, the four-time European champions, are reportedly monitoring Philogene’s progress and are considering a summer move for the attacker. However, Hull City would only entertain offers exceeding the £15 million buy-back clause set by Aston Villa. Hull City currently occupy the final Championship playoff spot, although they have drawn their last three games. They face a tough challenge this weekend against league leaders Leicester City at the MKM Stadium.
