Huddersfield Town’s defender Tom Lees will miss the final two games of the Championship relegation battle due to a knee injury sustained in the recent defeat against Swansea City. Head coach Andre Breitenreiter confirmed this at a press conference, stating that Lees won’t be available for matches against Birmingham City and Ipswich Town.
The injury occurred as Lees tried to prevent Swansea’s second goal, stemming from a long ball by their goalkeeper. Breitenreiter expressed frustration at some players’ lack of tracking back, which contributed to Lees getting injured.
