This week’s topic asks whether the Rockets should exercise Jae’Sean Tate’s club option for next season. Tate, formerly one of Houston’s best players, is coming off the worst season of his career, in which he averaged only 15 minutes per night and 4 points per game.

He’s a high-IQ player with a below-average shooter, and at 28 years old, he could be better suited to assisting an instant contender than developing with the young Rockets, but his $7 million option makes him an appealing re-sign. So what do you think, TDS?
