According to FTBL, Toure, 18, is eager to join Hibs in the Scottish capital during the January transfer window. Hibs, who have won their last five games under former Central Mariners miracle worker Nick Montgomery, are unbeaten in their previous five games.

During Toure’s time in Gosford, Montgomery saw his potential and intends to add him to a team that already includes Martin Boyle of the Socceroos, Lewis Miller of the A-League, and James Jeggo.

Toure, who is a hybrid of both and is highly regarded by Reds coach Carl Veart, is the younger brother of Mohamed of Paris FC and Al Hassan of Turkey.
Toure, who was free to try his luck elsewhere at the end of the season, has made six appearances so far this season, all coming off the bench. His most recent game was a 10-minute cameo in the 4-3 weekend loss to the Macarthur Bulls.
Although Veart is meticulously limiting his playing time, it’s thought that Hibs regard the erratic and quick front-runner as a likely starter in the Scottish Premiership at a team that sits fifth on the ladder heading into the overnight trip to league leaders Celtic. He has scored just once in 133 minutes this season in 2023–2024.

Players who are about to expire on their contracts typically attract low transfer prices; however, the Reds’ $2 million plus add-ons acquisition of Nestory Irankunda from Bayern Munich stands as an exception.
Adelaide would probably only get a small portion of that amount if Toure were released in January.
When FTBL reached out to Toure’s agent, the legendary Fahid Ben Khalfallah of the Melbourne Victory, he declined to comment.
