“Bob was a good community man who cared deeply about Van Nest and the Bronx,” Anthony Rivieccio commented. Working with Boro President Ferrer, Bob contributed in guiding a team including me to start regenerating The Bronx following the horrible 1970s/1980s.

During the tenure of Boro President Mr. Carrion, I had the privilege of working with him once more and getting to know his lovely wife, Susan. One only needs to visit the Van Nest Neighborhood Association to see his fingerprints beneath the current chair, Bernadette Ferrara. A devastating loss for the Bronx and the area.”
