Hart had to be separated from fans by stewards and one of his own teammates after Hearts’ first goal.
Joe Hart was captured on camera addressing Hearts supporters who had provoked him following Celtic’s first-ever goal loss at Tynecastle.
Gorgie was filled with intense emotions on this day when the 10-man Celtic team lost 2-0. Yang was dismissed due to a high boot after Adam Idah had seen a penalty kick miss. After that, Tomoki Iwata was given a VAR penalty for a handball in the visitors’ area, which Jorge Grant converted. Hart was seen on camera allegedly calling Lawrence Shankland a “s****bag” for not taking the penalty.
However, Hart has already been involved in another incident that surfaced and showed him fighting with spectators during the penalty celebrations. In a brief video, which Footy Away Days on X posted, Hart is seen reaching for the ball after which a punter tosses it back in his face. Hart responds, and a steward separates him from the fan before he momentarily turns to walkaway.
However, at that moment, another ball is hurled in Hart’s direction. He turns to face more home fans, but security intervenes once more. At that point, Chandler Carter-Vickers, his teammate, steps in and pulls Hart away as the Hearts players applaud in the background.
